The city's contamination--
A compiled waste station.
The compost of land infertile--
the sterile land dry of vegetation,
A dusty land of internal pipes:
Just years of imitation.
The cest pool, the hindered quotations
All the leftover landfills
That still burn with aggression.

The sequence of imitation.
This word, that word
all just a collection.
She said, you said, he said, I said it.
I said it.
All the same nursery rhyme creations.
This word, that word,
The same hopeful elations.

The rings around the rosies,
and the pockets full
of all the noises.

The ring, the bird,
The record running on the vibrations.
The stomach churning with the same deceptions.

I said it.
I said it.

Where the hell are the comments for this? This is a high quality poem with some excellent use of unconventional metaphors; yet nobody seems to have read it. *Scratches head*

Oh well, I'll give you 5/5.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
