Array ( [sid] => 152071 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Same Sky [time] => 2009-08-07 10:19:42 [hometext] => My love and I are seperated, though we still love each other. It hurts too much for us to contact. I wrote a poem to him, a poem that I will never send. Enjoy. [bodytext] => "The Same Sky"

As I look to the sky,
the same sky as thy.
I wonder if you have heard,
the beautiful songs of birds.

As I look into the sea,
the same sea as thee.
I wonder if you too,
do splash the water blue.

As I touch the sand,
the sand on which you stand.
I wonder if your feet,
as mine do feel the heat.

And as I feel the sun,
the sun above my love.
I wonder all the time,
if it warms your skin as mine.

And when the night is black,
the sky above your back.
When you dream, is it true,
you dream of I as I of you?
And when you see the sky,
the same sky as I;
tell me is it true,
do you feel I, as I you?

For though we are apart,
and how it pains my heart,
I look to the sky,
the same sky as thy,
and hope that you too,
gaze upon the blue.

And as you see that sky,
the same sky as I,
do you see that star?
The one that seems so far?

If you could wish upon that star,
that one that seems so far;
If I had one wish that would come true;
I would wish for you...

... only you.
