I knew you I know I did
The place and where
Within my mind forever hid

Tragedy your life incurred
For you Gods ever love
Your happiness for awhile ensured
Your mind allowed to change from above

Giggles and fun the pointing finger
Inside you fear the change
Not knowing terrible fear yet linger
Crazy lady she's deranged

Laughter is easy when it isn't you
Schisophonic the devils cursed
No one knows a day you have been through
I never knew you be assured

Memories back I prayed your health
A daughter yours came to us
Beautiful and such curly hair
Rosy cheeks lips so plush

She grew to be the devil in disguise
The look of an angle until a first crush
She grew strong and wise
Mom and dad born long ago in the bush

Heart aches and love she was always yours
Made me mad and she searched you out
Felt she was born to us ; yes she was ours
Always wanted to help and so I pout

A beautiful woman you saw her grown
Mysterious the way God works
Within my mind always known
Saw your granddaughter life's biggest perks

You carried your cross carried it well
A special place for you reserved
Fought off demons in this hell
A place for you so well deserved

Held your baby daughter ever so close
We did too in our hearts and in our arms
When you passed she held you
God is Love and he called you home

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
