[bodytext] => Sunrise I need help, I can’t breath, But what can I do To escape this pain that burns like fire? Every thought, every deed Brings on torment anew, My stress it is dire. My body can run, But my mind, it must stay, A prison of thought does conspire. So my days must be done, As I can’t get away From this cell in my head made of fire. And try as I might, To escape this lament, Through thought, action, or word. There is no chance of flight, For gone is strength, Pierced by my very own sword. So I burn and I cry, Awaiting to die, For death must be coming my way. But still I must try To find out why, Things get worse, and worse, each day. But my tears I can’t heed, And my screams I ignore, As I watch my despair grow. This once dormant seed Has bloomed to a roar, Of my angst, my pain, my sorrow. But what can I do, But plead with my sanity To come back from the brink of despair. Then my scream breaks anew, As I finally see, That my sanity is no longer there. Am I crying again? By now I can’t tell, My perspective is warped and soiled. Am I here there or then? Or just drowned in a well, Of the black tears that I’ve cried. Is it night or day? In this world, I don’t know, As I no longer believe my own eyes. And anyway, I have sank so low That I can’t see the truth for the lies. So I continue to sink, In this well of my tears, And I drown in my own sea of sorrow. Yet I continue to think, That my pains’ ending nears, And the sun will rise on me tomorrow.
