[bodytext] => It’s always been that self righteous, self fulfilling, egotistical bull***** that’s always driven me away It’s kept me from coming back to that fancy place of worship that we all call the church You praise a contorted god whom you believe rewards that Pharisee who so to speak “pray publicly on the corner of the streets.” But my god rewards only those deserving of the life everlasting or if you will those who “go into their room, close the door and pray to their Father, who is unseen. And all the ***** you say, the tears you cry and all of that other fake bull ***** you do just to make yourself look better…. Is one day going to be rewarded in full but maybe not quite in the way you foresee Now I’m not saying the actions you make do not benefit the poor, beaten, ravaged people of this world and I am certainly not saying that I do not believe In God But doing it all for the wrong reasons, like when you must make sure that the camera sees you with your makeup on and hair curled because they must see that you simply look ravishing or it wouldn’t have been worth it at all. You don’t seem to understand the simple satisfaction of knowing as a human being we should be helping other human beings But you need it to be something that everyone sees so at your book clubs and get-togethers you can brag about how you helped that poor little orphan child and how it just oh so…soul freeing All you people need to understand love is often times given with no returns. There is no exchange rate of one orphan for your high horse and a spot in heaven But wait you didn’t help just one it was six or was it seven?...irrelevant Haha but of course we cannot forget that in your own time without those peering eyes you scowl at the homeless man you see on the street just as you tell your children “being gay sends you to hell just like your good for nothing fag of a father” Beg my pardon I must have forgotten we can only love those who we are rewarded for helping. Now as you are walking away you try to wrap your mind around the pretty teenage girl giving that man some food and money but then you rationalize it by telling yourself “she’s probably a skank so I’m still better than her” as you promptly go home to beat your children then relax with a nice glass of wine.
