Epiphany

Loving you…
It makes me something new.
Love can come,
And love can go.
That’s what people say…
How long will this last?
How long will you stay?
These are questions I ask myself,
Each and every day.

We have so much more than others can see.
The more they say,
The more I have to believe.
Of everyone I’ve met,
And everyone I’ve known,
I’ve searched for someone such as you.
And I hope when you read this,
You can say that too.

If there’s one thing you learn,
I just want you to know…
It has finally paid off for us going so slow.
This isn’t some kind of race.
It’s not a type of game.
But the truth is...without you,
I’m like a garden without rain.

"I’m like a garden without rain."
The imagery you use really hits home I like the way you repeated words in the 6th 7th and and 11th and 12th lines
