Hourglass the Eternity

Contributed by Inevitable on Thursday, 23rd July 2009 @ 12:28:19 PM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

What cure is there
for the girl fading
crying, dying, dimming
in front of your eyes
when you can't see it
when you don't care?

What is the needle
in my skin or on
it's way down?
The tearing flesh
brings tears of joy
sweetly singing veins.

Burning away flesh
impurities, so insecure
a bottle full of nothingness
useless pills like coins
like karma, like love
It feels like love.

**

Under my insides
my heart a single beat
your fingers, eyes
always gone away
I'm left to hurt, to hate
to die with each day.

Cigarette butts, ashes
fingers in hair, silk
diamonds on the way down
lace up her thighs
begging for looks
and for pleading eyes.

Private hurt, raw
exposed transparently
elusive tangibility
no time for tears
for fingers down the throat
to be on knees.

**

Would be better if no one
loved me or tried to.
Soon the earth will
bend me or I will bend it
mind, soul, the creation within
I will be there with you...

Even when all the clocks
cannot stop under world's
weight, heavy hands
eternity to be written
wear me out, put me down
Keep me intact, or trapped.
