Dark clouds of imagination

Dark clouds align the heavens high, and open up the gateless sky
Thunder roars and rages, the rain pours for aegis,
Sudden lightning strikes the ground, followed by the thunderous sound,
Creatures cower, I can see them from my tower,
Even the trees have had enough, of this beautiful storm with its awful wrath
But not me!
I could sit and watch this storm forever, for all its beauty and its splendour,
I could watch this storm forever!
This imaginary storm of my mind’s creation, has captured my attention and appreciation
Although I know that it’s not really there, for this simple fact I do not care,
I only wish that you was there, to assure that what I saw was there,
And not just some fanciful flight, of my mind’s imagination that night.
