reaching boundaries no man can reach,
exploring views no dreams may compare,
rescueing life at the sight of every flare.

He changes time zones before tears leave home;
with such speed time moves slow,
so fast the sounds of heart beats remain still,
imprinting fear in villans with visions of a swift kill.

His invulnerable to the world's poisons;
an invisible hero trying to be the cure,
but his heart to has grown cold and no love may explore.

The warmth in his heart takes refuge in the shade;
the shade of warm memories,
a safe haven out of the sight of his brutality,
but it was his identity which led to many revenged tragedies.

He never ages living with guilt in a lonely world,
for his an eternal witness to his crimes,
his heart's flooded with pain,
and in his heroic brutality you can see the signs.

Tears rain from his stormy eyes;
each drop a memory of his first love,
the love which provoked feelings he kept dormant,
and his heart became tame impervious to evil torment.

A smile soon holds a position once more,
reminicing on the beautiful world he and her explored,
holding hands as they flew through time,
rebels to the worlds ways and innocent to every crime.

To her no secrets were kept hidden;
taking her to places the world has never known,
he takes her to Flight School where he learned to fly,
a place no man may go, far beyond the sky.

Time soon went by and with it her youth;
day by day her memories of him began to fade,
she was cursed with the miseries of old age,
and on evil men he released his fatal rage.

He then took her into his arms,
and to flight school he began to fly,
with intent to give up his powers,
so vulnerable he may live during her last hours.

She held him tight gazing into his ageless eyes,
filled with tearful sadness,
she then smiled as her soul faded into the night,
as the storm clouds gathered putting out the moonlight .

He opens his eyes...
seeing his reflection through a puddle,
he gazes into a shop window,
watching as the t.v. tells tales of approaching war.

He clinches his fists...
then blasts into the sky;
he now feels love from innocence who are in need,
He is Superman,
and if any life is in danger he will rescue it at light speed.
