This Butterfly
Isn’t it amazing how a man can catch a butterfly?
With her beautiful wings she flies down low.
She will land on your shoulder. She will stay along for the ride.
It’s great to have her with you.
She makes you feel all bubbly inside.
You need no jars or nets to keep her with you.
I love my butterfly, my butterfly so blue.
She could leave me in a second,
But she stays for some odd reason.
She gives me my faith, and my strength to keep believing.
Though I want to keep her with me,
I will never clip her wings.
I would never hurt her.
She means too much to me.
