Pumping heart, heavy breathing, a need for air

You do this to me the way I feel
For a hug and a kiss if I could steel
To know that you care just a bit
I am this nobody with a recording hit

To see you smile is a radiant glow
Making you happy and not on show
You are the special in my day
That pleases me in every way

On my mind in my heart a part of me
There is only one place I wish to be
And this ache I will always keep
My day without it is far to steep

To say I love you, I want to do more
To hold your hand and open the door
Give to you all that I can
To be the one you call your man.

Love, an entanglement emotions wild
Liken for me I feel like a child
Logic and calculations gone with despair
Pumping heart, heavy breathing, a need for air

You do this to me the way I feel
For a hug and a kiss if I could steel
To know that you care just a bit
