Adrift, alone, under radiant moonlight

My heart broken, aching, with pain

As two lovers, will we meet again?

In saddened eyes, diamonds appear

Rolling down my face, a solitary tear

Trying to understand, trying to find

Keys to unlock, thoughts in your mind

Blind to the truth, what was needed

Signs were given, though seldom heeded

Hidden feelings, from those around

Head buried, deep in the ground

My heart it yearns, for love once more

Now lost in a wilderness, no place to go

Wanting that angel, who came from the skies

Showing love, compassion, in emerald eyes

In years gone by, mountains to climb

Our way since lost, in the mists of time [comments] => 1 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 22 [informant] => thewizard [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
