my ugliest days to me
were the most beautiful for you

sacrifices were each other's gift
for months of misery were worth one day of joy

but like the tides
we came and went
off to pursue other things in life

and i hope you know
that i truly hope the best for you
because you taught be what it meant to be valued
loved, adored, and treated like a woman

i will always love you
and i hope that you find everything
that you're looking for in life.
