My sanity is balancing a tightrope;
slowly it hangs on for dear life.
It sees the Grim Reaper glaring in his cloak;
this tightrope could break with even the dullest knife.
My sanity hears millions of voices screaming to come join them;
the strength of this rope is fraying away along with my wits.
Evil thoughts are blockading sanity's journey on life's thin stem;
It is very likely sanity will soon fall off this tightrope and into a bottomless pit.

Bravo!! Our styles are so very similar . We even use some of the same metaphors and words and even phrases too!! Keep up the great work and keep writing!! Keep posting!! I'll keep up on your new works as well/

I like it! It reaches back deep into your mind and what exactly happens when it malfunctions.
