So there's this boy...

Topic: LovePoetry

So there’s this boy…
who makes my heart skip a beat every time I see him.
I feel so safe in his arms
when he wraps me up in them.
He brings me flowers
and makes me laugh when we’re in the shower.
He makes me feel good about myself.
I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
He makes me smile without any effort.
Most of the time, he has to ask why.
It’s just being with him as time passes by.

So there’s this boy…
We’re going to spend the rest of our lives together,
this boy whom I’ve known for so long.
It just doesn’t get any better.
He’s brightened my life since we first met.
Those days, and these, I will never forget.
He’s never judged me or lied,
and would never think of it.
This boy, I trust with my life,
and with everything after.
I couldn’t hide my love,
even with all the tricks that I could master.

So there’s this boy…
Who, no matter what, I know will be there.
I’m right here for him.
I’m not going anywhere.
I can’t wait to see where the future leads.
This boy is all of everything I need.
He’s always on my mind and in my thoughts,
and I love this boy…
will always love this boy,
with everything I’ve got.
