Tears speak unuttered words,
Silently they trickle
Down a child’s cheeks
Hot from the fury
Of being unappreciated,
Or worse, ignored.
Tears speak to those
Who see beyond the surface
As emotions stirring deep within
Bubble forth, leaving
Long black mascara trails.
Tears speak unvoiced
And yet, he has no need
When inner turmoil
Tells of his tragic loss,
The death of
His father…

It's always fascinating how tears can convey an emotion.......sometimes sadness but also sometimes tears of joy.
Your poem reminded me of how powerful they can be |

I've always said that tears speak louder
than any words, and certainly you have
painted that picture here, showing that
tears are like different languages for
different people. It's a small piece, but
it says a lot. Good job!
Be well,
