Bullet-Proof Bubble

Iridescent spheres floating up to the clouds,
breathing life into bubbles is a simplistic pleasure.
Rainbow balls mystically floating in a crowd,
their life span is too brief to be measured.
Some break in a second; some last a while.
Crystal balls of the sky are never out of fashion.
Magic is enclosed in these bubbles of style;
Timeless bubbles are an artistic passion.
Bubbles seem to burst on contact,
but, in actuality, they are armoured by breath.
This breath blows immortality into the bubble's soul.
A bubble is bullet-proof because of its irresistible urge to reproduce more.

Ahhhhhhh this poem made me smile.
I was thinking on getting a bottle of bubbles the other day just because, sighhhhhh.
Beautiful poem and filled with wonder and fun as well.

Great descriptions and creative. Reminds me of William Carlos Williams, I believe. He was a poet who tried to convey something simple intensely and in the moment to his readers. I believe you are doing so as well. |
