Array ( [sid] => 15023 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Christmas Eve [time] => 2003-03-27 17:05:00 [hometext] => ~ I've always considered christmas eve to be a personal time for reflection, and therefore I've written a poem every christmas eve. This was the first. One day I'll link them all into one poem when I feel they're complete. ~ [bodytext] => The day of waiting.
the one day without any hating
tommorow everything starts anew

They'll put out the presents,
Make everything nice and pleasant
Fill my stocking with pretty white lies.

I remember the times when I couldnt fall asleep
I had different reasons then,
It had better be good this time.

Lets do the things families are supposed to do
lets try to hold this together
lets try to make it through

today is my day, the day for myself
to remember what I had
how you ***** it up so well

let's all hand out the christmas cards
this tension is making it hard
im about to scream but it wont come out

Just thought I'd say
"Merry Christmas"
to my broken home

Love..
