Later hit a bird that flew by
The bird hit the ground
Without making a sound

The ball went through a window and hit a person in the head
“Who threw this ball at me”? the person said
The ball later went down the hill
Stood there and laid completely still

A person came by and kicked the ball
A toy got hit which was a doll
The ball gained speed and continued to fly
The Russians thought it was a US spy

A Russian boy looked up and saw a sphere
The boy said “The ball landed right over here”
A large crowd gathered around the ball
A man passed by and went to the mall

Today the ball is lost
Somewhere in Jupiter or in a frost
But if you look up you will see
That the ball is still up there lonely and free [comments] => 0 [counter] => 144 [topic] => 5 [informant] => KeyboardPlayer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
