I spent my days down in the dumps
My life was in a constant slump
I dared not venture beyond the space in my room
The writes I turned out were smothered with doom and gloom

One day as pictures kept appearing on my wall
In particular one stood out from them all
I absorbed it deep into my mind
Knowing that someone special I did find

I studied how the sun highlighted the curves of your face
I looked longer because I sensed a special kind of grace
Then came the day I finally spoke to you
I was so unsure of what to say or do

You shared that special grace with me
I knew right then friends we were meant to be
Now I spend my days singing a new tune
With a spring in my step, I know I will see you online soon

This is a very postive write. It is a true miracle when at times people over the net can become closer to us than we realized, even in distance. I loved this poem but of course I love all of your poetry!

Hugs
Michelle

Isn't it amazing how just one person can change our lives?

Oh, how I adore this! This flows with a beautiful sentiment and
enormous optimism. I am happy to see a lightness in your words
again, my friend. There is a softness in this write that stands out
as a brilliant light. If only everyone could have an inspiring friend
(or two) to hold us when we are too weary to hold ourselves. To
give us moments to anticipate with a happiness such as yours. ^_^

Beautiful post.

~ Breezy
