Though the distance,
I can feel you
All around me.

You give me a feeling,
That is forever strong;
You make me feel so special.
I hope you can see yourself
Through my eyes.
My chest grows with pride
To even think that your love
Could be mine,
It's so divine.
I become stronger
When you inject your love
Into my veins.

Can you picture it?
You and me
Hand in hand?
Together,
Once again?
Our love is so strong,
The distance is so long...

My heart pounds
Harder.
And I want you,

You speak to me with passion,
It laces your every word.

This moved me. I know this emotion intimately. It is bitter sweet, no? Missing
someone so much that it hurts can break the heart so easily. There is sleepless nights
mornings of longing and endless days of dreaming .. but OH what glorious torture!

Your words wrap around this emotion so beautifully. It is enrapturing.

What an absolutely amazing poem.. It clearly captures your feelings toward this other person. It reminds me of someone in my life.
It brings the longing and desperation to have them near in full view of the reader, almost exposing.... I enjoyed this, a lot. You're such a good poet.
