Devoted to no one, alone I become
Why didn’t you call when you said you would
Broken promises hurt worse than words ever could
Why can’t things go back to how they once were
When we would laugh and talk for hours
Without a care in the world
But the laughter has stopped
And heartache fills the room
Darkness falls around me
I feel nothing but doom
But through the darkness
There is always some light
To guide me to the Love of my life
Although I know we are not meant to be
Forever I’ll remember you once cared for me
Someday I will find the man deserving of me
My soul mate, my Love
Forever devoted to me

Time passes slowly with no one to Love
Devoted to no one, alone I become
Why didn’t you call when you said you would
Broken promises hurt worse than words ever could
Why can’t things go back to how they once were
When we would laugh and talk for hours
Without a care in the world

Ouch ~ been there and done that. Let your heart go free to find a true love! To Love again! Take only the man deserving of you!
