[hometext] => I am a hypersensitive person with a sometimes scary amount of empathy which leads to immense sorrow. This poem is to the true Empaths of the world.
[bodytext] => The sun shines on this bright Spring day, and I think it will be a "good" day; Upon entering a tomb-like building, I encounter a soul-sinking demon. Our eyes meet and an evil parasite has injected its poisons of dismay; The demon of dread dove into my soul and polluted it for no reason. Forever altered, I continue existing with poisoned blood, Avoiding interaction for fear of a lethal reaction. My defenses died long ago as my emotions outpoured a flood; The demon relentlessly awaits my soul with its sadistic attraction. My emotional cycle is my gift and my curse; I have a soul unsheathed to absorb the emotions of many. The demon preys as my heart is about to burst however, I will not sheath my soul for an entity.
