I whisper to you my sweet friend
things have finally winded down
nothing left to do but beg for the loss
nothing left to do but let the show run.

I dreamed about you the other night
breathing the dust of the dead
and keeping warm from the blood of the bewildered
but we both know this miracle will come.

You whispered to me the time is almost right
the confusion has almost run its coarse
the streets are lined with the dumb
and there is nothing left to do but run.

Hold me in the night
let your sword be dull from the salt of the sea
come lets play in the fields of yesteryear
lets get ready for the fight.

So much depth, I felt the forces uniting in this one wounded yet ready to die for the cause Haven't felt that since I saw Casa Blanca for the first time, refreshing.Morgue
