i had almost nodded off when the screams of drowning bird flew past me fast
i exploded with a dive and cuped hm in my hand
i said your alright little bloke just next time try and stay on land

i paddled and paddled but one arm wasnt enough
i said hold on little bloke things might get alittle bit rough
i held high in the air as we were swept further down the creek
i said mate i can save you but for me things a looking pretty bleek

alright mate before we hit the rapids im gunna launch you into the sky
i want you to give it all you`ve got i want you to try and fly
we hit the first rapid and i flung him with all my thunder
but i didnt see him land the rapids had sucked me under

bouncing off and banging into rocks i split my head on a tree
i resurfaced just long enough for the rapids to set me free
there i was exhausted face down in the sand
when i heard a familiar voice, young squire looks like you need a hand:)

Wizzard, oh my god how long has it been?
it`s been a few years now squire far to long in between
we sat down together and talked about the past
wizzard i know about your dad but just had to ask

he put his hand on my back and said my friend death comes to us all
i loved my father very much from the very day i could crawl
but it was you who brought me back remember, with a good ol glass of wine
time stood still for a while, untill you bought me a vine

i put my hand on his back and said mate im so proud of you
you deserve it more than any bugga i know after all you`ve been through

squire your generous, compassionate, loving and very smart
there is no questioning your thortfulness, your careing or even the size of your heart

hold out your hand squire
i now declaire you guardian, and protector of all that is flora
this day is marked forever, and as one with all the fauna.

be well guardian;) [comments] => 3 [counter] => 222 [topic] => 40 [informant] => shanat [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )
