[title] => Fluttering Dyed Cloth

[hometext] => This poem is about the evil that lurks behind all flags, and how they divide us from our own humanity, no matter what flag you support. I pray one day we will cast such things aside and embrace ourselves and eachother, all around the world, as neighbors.
[bodytext] => Translucent faces of nations, Putting lives in the palms of liars; Gullibility proves prosperous to few, While many cry kamikaze tears. Chains of bureaucracy, murder; Slaying billions over centuries, gone! Pride fretting tradition's beauty; Honor oblivious to shame; Horrific! When will the dyed begin dying? Will moon, stars, and stripes soon erase? Erase a history of enslavement, Breaking free of all symbols of war? Unite under one flag, all people? No! Unite under no flag at all! Color's absence is pure light; Scintillating! Humbled hearts only revel triumphantly. Fluttering dyed cloth only binds us; Fluttering dyed cloth, that is all! Nationalism; Patriotism; Competition; Armies; Graveyards; Bombs!
