Array ( [sid] => 148946 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Broken Dreams [time] => 2009-04-06 10:02:17 [hometext] => watching my friend being used endlessly inspired me to write this piece. [bodytext] => From the ceiling of hope i hang by my thoughts
of the power to one day pull through,
our chemistry together could destroy the world
but then what would become of me and you?

You’re in my veins just like a drug,
an addiction i just can’t give up,
i’m stuck inside this powerless dream,
a dream from which i cannot wake up.

chorus-
I showed you my heart but you just blew it off, you didn’t care,
now how do i fade these scars on my heart i’ll always bare?

Is it really so different from every other time
or is that just what you want me to believe?
take all of my feelings and kick them around
then tell me its time to leave.

I keep teling myself it wont happen again
its not who i want to be,
but i keep holding onto you anyway
in hope that you’ll see me for me.

(chorus)

Unwrap your fist from around my heart
i think its time to let go,
you say you want to love me more
now i don’t know which way to go.

So i’m here if you want me, wrap me up in your warmth
and tell me these feelings arn’t wrong,
or let me know if a relationship with you
is somewhere i do not belong.

(chorus)
