However, negating it seemed to provide for me the truest relationship to something inexplicable. [bodytext] => There are no misunderstandings to be drawn from my heart.
I am driving towards my purpose, re-awakening my conscious heart.
My conscience comes back to life.

At times, I dream of one to love me like I can love.
Mostly, as it happens, they do-- but I struggle with contentment.
I've opened up truly to few- but, I don't.

I have lived un-brazened by your lack of love for so long,
I have seen happiness, utter joy.
I have celebrated my life!
Yet, when you are here, I wish it were here with me.

Alas, it is not what I have... It is what I am that resounds my heart and strengthens my soul beyond the clasping of the feeble.

Hmmmm.. you may have started a debate on whether or not unbrazened is a word. Perhaps without the dash, it is. After all, the dictionary seems to be revised every few years and Alanis Morissette uses this very word in her song, Break. So, I think it's cool and even if its not, I salute you for using it.

Anyway, I like the poem too. It seems to convey a vulnerability for love and a strength to move on without it. Least that's what I get out of it. Interpretations aside, I like it no mater what.

Take care.

Tim

Perhaps un-brazened will appear in the dictionary at some future date, lol.
What has appeared here is a deep, thoughtful write which I really enjoyed reading.
Good luck with many more

Steve
