What is your passion?

Its my pleasure to see twinkle of stars
In the eyes of my wife; I like to caress
Her cheeks while bathing under a waterfall;
Yea, I have a passion to watch the rising sun
When waves of ocean turns
into brilliance of red gold laughter-

What is your vice?

When it encounters a sensuous beauty
My mind becomes a shameless beast
But my intellect silently trounces it's lust-

What parts of your life inspires you?

Watching the wonderful scenes of nature
Reading of most poetic lines of a scripture
Seeing of happiness of my children and
Grand children and a joyous laughter
Of my wife; cheerful faces of my friends;
And words of love I hear from the youth-

Are you the essence of your poetry?
Or, is poetry the essence of you?

My poetry is the essence of few of my emotions.
A great sea of light of the self is still un-revealed.

If your inner-self could be mirrored how would
you describe it?

Some times it is a vast shining blue
Some times it is like a dazzling sun field
Some times it is a blue sky with the sun
Some times it is a great plain surrounded
By huge mountains with their lofty tops
Some time the sky covered with great
Rain bearing clouds, thundering with
Countless dazzling flashes of lightening...
Sorry, I can’t show all my reflections in a mirror!

I adore you Venkat, always.

You answered all five questions in the most glorified way.

Every sentence was so beautiful. The obvious love and passion you have for your wife, the blessings of your children and the amazing poet who writes with the flair of a thousand philosophers.....that is Venkat.

You are a blessing.

May your heart be filled with vision, light and happiness.

Kie

wow, V, when you answer a question, you REALLY answer a question!!

And there is much beauty and poetry within these answers. You've
introduced us to a deeper knowledge of venkat. It's brilliant, friend.

I love the images you illustrated in your first stanza and everything
from then on was just as glorious! Excellent post, poet.

~ Breezy

Seriously...this has to be the best answer to those questions. What a tribute to the art of poetry and the gift of friendship. One could not help but be gathered into this and come out the other side grateful for the journey and it's guide. I have a inkling of your passions and what drives you. I can clearly see what you love and what has brought you love. You have left me breathless.

Be well,
~Loende
