[hometext] => I love a good storm, how about you?
[bodytext] => A dismal sky sobs betrayal's tears Autumn's turn stealing love from the sun It's warm breath undressing slowly the trees So black, the fury of a mother scorned Sweet sulfur filling my nostrils Electricity bubbles on my tounge Tantalizing : the air's acidity! FLASH CRACKLE POP Memories of exploding candy From when I was young Or maybe some rice cereal Drive out, wipers tick, tick, ticking Like the brass metronome on Grandma's old grand A secret spot I escape to sometimes By blurred roads, I arrive, exalted Engine cuts, and rain on tin gallops Envelopes senses, soothes the heart mild Through closed eyes, I enjoy a sweet symphony Stripping naked, and stacking my clothes I leave the safety of my vehical Mud squishing through toes, I wander Dance with the sway of wooden limbs Pleading; Please, do not be ashamed! Be humbled before all life's storms [comments] => 2 [counter] => 197 [topic] => 27 [informant] => jason_robert_britt [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )
