Array ( [sid] => 148487 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Becoming More [time] => 2009-03-14 14:12:59 [hometext] => Each stanza is a tribute to a poem written here or to a poet/poetess who has become more. [bodytext] => Water captured for a moment
held with hands imagining
seamlessly rippling skies
silvered in gazed magnificence

A pen anxious to speak in tenure
quelled by drifts of blotted emotion
inscribed for the messenger waiting
as the journeyman is guided away

Tears swayed by gripping memories
confined to release in captivity
to a sphere engrossed with living
from walls toppled by yesterday

Curtains blued by fading grief
warmed, subdued and tender
and keyed to yearn for songs
composed of gentle ambience

Hope framed in gossamer realms
cherished as priceless antiquity
bloomed in days almost forgotten
by a sea froth and patient

Love given in boundless quantity
scarred from twisted pearls
a heart draught within shadow
yearning to clasp and hold

Emancipating vital laughter
sheered on vivid scripts
flirting with the ledges
where sun and water meet

*Note*

Becoming more means you have that something that has perfected itself and moves me clear to my soul. Thank you. He stops, he reads, and he notices, amongst the myriads of hope, dreams, laughter and moss, that you worked in the word "seamlessly ".

I could see myself in a lot of this. While I know it's "a tribute to a poem written here or to a poet/poetess" that walks about this place, I could still personally relate to so much of it.

We, as in the collective known as YPDC, should all give you a personal thank you for such a beautiful tribute. So, I thank you. As I have said, you are very kind and this poem definitely conveys your kindness and thoughtfulness.

'Tis truly a treasure for all of us to splendor in.

I am thanful to have met you and I am thankful that you can come here to be moved clear to your soul.

Thank you,

Tim

My dear poetess. Here are many suns and moons on their eternal pilgrimage..though you say this is a tribute to a poem or a poet/poetess..
I feel this is the best tribute to your soul which has perceived many brilliant emotions of eternal nature and its heart..
If I were the author of this poem I have to dedicate this to you only since you have the power to emancipate the vital laughter of poets like me.
I know, you will become a source of inspiration to many poets here.
God bless the bliss of my soul to you.
your
venkat
