Hushed by echos in the chambers of nights shadows and suffering.
A place where the ghosts shall walk,
bell tolls its final hour.

The moon shall turn to red once more
hearts left to break and suffer
beneath the roll of eternal thunder
and all shall beg for a dagger to ease their pain.

Is it the shadows that causes this?
Or just a myth, not all are afraid of the blanket of darkness
that covers and enthralls with a romantic danger.

Come with me in the rain when the day closes.
Together we can become one in the shadows
enticed by the dark, the lonely and call of the wild
rain falls gentle thunder beckons its final call.

I enjoy the way you word things. It creates a synergy of both vivid imagery as well as emotion; both of which make a wonderful poem. Take care and stay safe.

like "the moon should turn to red once more", "come with me in the rain".. i like that kind of surreal things that makes a poem curly'er .))

The nights can be so beautiful. The sound of a gentle rain mixed with the darkened shadows of the night create an picture perfect scene.

Great write My Friend.
