It causes me to rethink my thoughts and think that things will change, but can it? Damn, I’m so confused my thoughts are rearranged.

I’m happy now my life is good, or so it’s good I thought. Confusion says there’s greener grass, but when I’m there its not.

With confusion comes obsessive doubt, dissatisfied feelings arise. It can come in the form of just hearing those words, or seeing the tears that she cries.

To be confused is like being lost, you search for the right way to go. But only in hindsight can the path be seen clear, we walk blindly this feeling I know.

Confusion causes so much stress; unnecessarily my wavering thoughts are exposed. I’m given a choice that I cannot make by the options that you have proposed.

To be put in such an awkward place causes confusion to run its due course. Now I stand alone bearing this weight, feeling confusion plaguing my mind with full force

So I’ll go on, thinking these thoughts and confused, until I finally work this out. And make the choice that I’m not ready to make, I fear forever I’ll remain full of doubt.

The context, conception and emotion of this poem was from the heart.

As an after thought, maybe some breaks or stanzas? It would make for easier reading.

Thats not to say that I didn't feel your heart or see your potential.

First, your poem is beautiful and very touching.
Second, and take this with a pinch of salt as I am not a expert on women and have my own issues with them, but if she is your ex there is probably a reason. If your happy with the girl your with now stay happy. Your ex had her chance, and things didn't work out. Now you have a new chance to right any wrongs, but with this new girl. And I think the one wrong you can right now, is the doubt you hold in your heart.
