And this yearning; I need to feel, need to be yours
I look at you, and my heart fills with content
My soul feels sad when I wonder where you went
Without your presence, I possess no sense of drive
I've forgotten how it feels to breathe; to be alive
Just take my hand, reach up into the sky
Take your thumb, wipe away the tears I cry
Listen to those voices whispering in your head
And decide if you are living, or are you dead
This longing is more than you will ever know.

And while you decide, deep inside, this stormy weather
I'll be here, piecing my heart back together
Take as long as you need to make up your mind
And when you're ready, in solace, you will find
A torn heart, mended with glue and tape, and
If you're careful, you can hold it in your hands
Just don't let anything happen, 'cause you swore
And remain close, so you can open that closed door. Closed Doors

I have you could open my closed doors
And this yearning; I need to feel, need to be yours
I look at you, and my heart fills with content
