i'm tired of the sunsets,and you'll always be gone
i wonder what it would feel like to let go of how i feel
the night is closing in,but the truth was never real

another empty soul left to lose and left to fear
cause nothing seems to matter,not now if you're not here
the surf just keeps on crashing,the sand is always smooth
the stars are getting brighter,so much you never knew

i don't want to let go,but there's nothing left to hold
the breeze still carries your memories,in the waves that haven't rolled
the ocean knows my thoughts,and the moon can hear me cry
if it weren't for the way you look at her,i might be asking myself why

i walked into the water,and i've never felt so light
someday you'll know i loved you,whether wrong or right
the sun's completely faded,the night is standing still
maybe i can find myself,i know you think i will

the shadow of the clouds hides the light of the sun
i'm tired of the sunsets,and you'll always be gone
i wonder what it would feel like to let go of how i feel
