No matter the time or the distance apart,
Your love will forever fill my heart,
On my lips, your kiss I will always taste
Your breath I will always feel on my face...........
No matter how rough my life may seem,
The knowledge that I am loved makes my heart beam.
With your voice you manage to calm my stormy seas
Your touch is as comforting as a gentle breeze.
The one thing that transcends all time and space
Is the never ending beauty that radiates from your face.
Even though situations keep us apart for months at a time
I am comforted by the knowledge that you are mine
Matters not what tribulations I endure
Of one thing I can always be sure.
You’re always there when I need a shoulder,
With you, this love, I never need to smolder
When daily life tries to push me to my knees
I know my sustaining strength comes from thee.
Never again to be pained by an empty heart,
You took care of that from the very start
The winds of reality may some day blow
And through the windows our dreams may go
But until that time, we’ll enjoy the love we share

one of the most beautiful poems that i've read in a while. it just all seemed to work together seamlessly. i could tell that a lot of thought had gone into picking each word of each line, exemplified in this short bit:
'The one thing that transcends all time and space
Is the never ending beauty that radiates from your face.'
another highlight was the final stanza, which combined imagery with a beautiful fluency. a quite simply superb write.

Intimacy at its best, closeness of a sweet breath.
Lonliness is departed by the closeness of two souls.
familiar voices with a loving touch goes a long way.
third paragraph with a face
transcending through time everlasting.
A friendship or love shall never pass us by,
we are handed trials together.Emptyness of hearts
filled with a strength for each other.
Let our out stretched hands also push out the pain,
the pain we must endure through this life.
dreams do wonder passed windows of a nights love
Maybe a knights love, sounds from a billowing
of a great stallions horse.
Deadwriter and Jenni_K keep up the writing
may your words hold dear for years, maybe
