Array ( [sid] => 147947 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Gone Too Soon [time] => 2009-02-13 17:41:39 [hometext] => In this month of love it is perhaps also a time to remember those who have lost their soulmate, their one true love.I pray this is never my tale [bodytext] => In the dusk, as daylight sighs and crawls to sleep
I think of you, washed in darkness at the edge of my imagination
Solitary ghost meandering by the river, for I cannot walk with you
Merely see you dance, shoeless and carefree on the opposite bank

The last bird skims the water, then lifts high over forest parapet
Calls to the heavens as silver wings rise into reddened sky
Our haven, this sweet green arena of magical sense surrender
Shared only now in memories, as distant as your touch

Tall trees whisper, soft calls as your voice in my dreams
Air warm and sweet, wraps like the blanket of your lost caress
Recollections of the past, deep kisses in the moonlight
Here we dared to feel alive, to will the impossible

Fading orb of Summer casts enchanted shadows in the distance
Yet shadowless the vivid image raging through my mind
A single tear now carried in the ripples of the water
I watch it drift to nothingness, another gone too soon [comments] => 5 [counter] => 370 [topic] => 24 [informant] => puppy_dog_eyes [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LoveRemembered )
