Array ( [sid] => 147856 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => SUNDAY [time] => 2009-02-08 16:38:01 [hometext] => a sketch. Any comment? [bodytext] => Sunday

The spirit lamp that lit my yesterday lies half empty by the mirror,
Next to my pushed aside scissors.
No answer in either for these Sunday morning swirlings.
Knocked down again. Maybe I should get up ( before the count of ten, now thats heroism in action. )

I'll Fill with blood soaked coffee my precious cup?
A mug from which my grandmother supped.

It's still Saturday somewhere,
& again the sabbath is here.
Should I join thier Jesus down at the pews?
Or should I join his people down where they don't rate in the news?
Now theirs an idea. Turn on the radio, find out the overnight score,
It's a long term game these wars. But theres a certainty that there
Will be aplenty, acrowding at death's ugly door.

Ah well, I've got ugliness of my own to add to last night's score
Up off the floor before the ten count
Thats lifes core,
What it's all about.

J.D. Morrison believed that " A horror of empty spaces propogates this seal on private places".

At twighlight time watch my spirit lamp still untouched from my Sunday Mourning standing, as a realized warning, that this horror breeds in the private place. The empty spaces 'together at last at twighlite time.'

Then as the dull sun sets swollen deep out west.
We'll all return to the silent contemplation of another weeks creation,
Some to craft & some to calling, some to vocation and some to Contemplation. Yet, all amongst the degradation, the delapidation & smoldering fires of a world's conflagration we get up before the count as Somewhere 'its forever twighlite time.'

And sleep shall embalm us after dark
And dreams shall as a torch touch then spark,
And the future shall come for all men,
Rest gently freinds we're all one of them.
Flesh & bone to mud and clay
Will never insoluble dreams decay
Remember as I will after twighlight, the promise of a another day.

great work once again I.B. you've learnt to skillfully control your erratic, but brilliant creativity. you're now churning out quality writes like japan churns out quality cars. the imagery skillfully adorned the substance, great writing.
