Who is that knocking at our door
Death you must be mistaking
He’s to young and strong
He is a husband , a father of 5, a brother of 10, and loved by many..
Am sorry death you must be lost this man can not be yours
He’s never experiences life’s pleasure
Never walked a daughter down the aisle , never held his first grandchild, nor has his baby graduated yet..
So death cant you see you must be wrong ..
This cant be what god has in mind ..
Just let this one slid..
It just don’t make since how does some live to 100 and others die so young..
Death this is not right
Please just check that list one more time..
I know he’s barely breathing.
And barely holding on..
But Am here hoping
just give us a wail longer
I know he will survive this
He faced a lot worst
I don’t want to lose him
Not yet, I need him
Haven’t you loved, haven’t you cared about anyone
Cant you just walk away just this once .
Death what do you want ‘
I give you the world just leave him be
Its not easy..
We’re to young
Nothing will be the same.
I know it not his time
This is just a dream
Leave us be
Someone wake me up
Please someone wake me up
I just want things like they use to be.
don’t tell me things will be wonderful again
Because there going to be wonderful now

Listen death YOU CANT HAVE HIM…LEAVE!!!!
He is mine
And he is not leaving yet
Despite your strength and your power you have over me
I have something more
LOVE
And he will be staying because its not his time
He will give me away , hold a grandchild and watch his littlest walk along that stage .
For He is strong and brave.
And with all his families love he will make it through this

I'm sorry for what's going on in your life. I have some idea of that because my dad's been having problems on and off for years, and I'm still only 17.
Things will get better for you and your father, and thanks for sharing your poem.

I admire the conviction in this write...I am sorry things seem rough, but I am sure with your beliefs..all will be well again soon...
Stay strong.. if you need a friendly ear...I a just a PM away..
Jenni
