[bodytext] => Today I’m thankful for even a small amount of food, because I remember what my mother once told me. Some go without each and every day.
I’m thankful for every step I take, because some are not blessed with this ability.
I’m thankful for every sense I have, because some lack some of the five senses.
I’m thankful for every friend I make for every friend I have eliminates one potential enemy.
I’m even thankful for death for without it I wouldn’t have remembered all the great memories we shared my friend.
I’m thankful to feel the pain of love, because I have realized what love is truly all about…
I’m thankful for good books, because they take me to places I might never get to experience in my life time.
I’m thankful to be blessed enough to witness a smile and laugh of a child, innocence and unbiased of the purest form.
I’m thankful for every tear that falls from eyes, that’s what separates me and makes me human.
I’m thankful for every problem in my relationship, for every problem solved just solidifies the bond between us.
I’m thankful for the sadness that fills my heart; it just means I desire happiness.
I’m thankful for days we just can’t see the end of the horizon: because it manifests dreams in every one of us.

Well, I cannot believe this poem only has one comment as I type this because I found it very profound and to have much wisdom to be emanating from within the lines you have drawn across the page. I really like it and found it quite an awesome write. I am thankful that I have read it and that you posted it. Indeed thankful that you shared your thoughts in poetic verse.
