and I saw that smile

across your face,

I knew that our fairytale story

had just begun,

and just like i dreamed of

you came into my life swiping me off my feet

finally my poet had come home to me.

As you took me in your arms

and hold me real tight,

I could feel that warmth I was

longing for on those lonely nights.

When you gave me that first kiss

it was so magical,

so unforgettable

I can still feel it on my lips,

and as you put your hands on my hips

to pull me closer to you,

you spoke those 3 words (I love you)

I was so anxiously to hear.

Yes, we made love endlessly

and waking up next to you is all i want

to do for the rest of my life.

Hearing your sweet voice when you sang to me

got me thinking of how lucky I felt,

for having an amazing man by my side.

The week you came home,

was the week I knew that

our love would survive...
