Near her bed stand was tossed.
Petals wilting falling round.
Clock on the wall only sound.

Red red wine glass half empty.
Pretense to her mood.
Candles lit and gone unnoticed
all around the room.

Her red rose lost to her thoughts.
gardens crowding neath the windows.
No thoughts no wishes only stares
beneath her breasts burdened gloom.

She heard the music heard a voice.
Yet her mind nor heart wanted to believe.
She saw her face but thought her eyes
at that moment had somehow deceived.

A beautiful fairy with a red rose her rose of red she thought.
But the rose had been transformed once more,
and the fairy placed it careful in a magical pot.
She stared a moment then she was gone.

It paints a picture.
conveys feelings.
makes you wonder what's going on in your head while you're writing it.
