Eyes glazed over, no reality in view, false pretense, increased gibberish.
You hang tethered to the fragile moment of your self- made existence.
All the cords silently fraying, snapping to toss all to the world below.

Then there it sits in the midst of melancholy the smile that creeps with the folly.
Hand in hand with the other side of lonely, bar stool won’t hold the weight of the broken.
The glass teeters, half full or empty matters not, it shatters into fragments,
scatters, the well is dry the glass is gone, at least by the existence it once knew.
It now rests within a heap in a trash can, covered with yesterdays news and a can or two.

Killjoy sings in the mist of tears, rivers of the wounded, frozen next with winters breath.
No spring will arrive for those lost to that moment, no buds, no rest no rebirth.
petals preserved forever beneath the frozen tundra of tears, an after thought….
a ghost or a whisper of another time……. never to be revisited again.

This poem is especially prolific but I especially love the beginning of this line: Killjoy sings in the mist of tears That rocks!!!

Anyway, so very creative. This one seems to have really come from a place where words were abundant and creativity relished!

Great job.

Tim
