Something so common in our history
No one can ascertain why each path we've taken
Leads to another wrong decision
The world never pays attention
Or contemplates the state that
It's in
Then just as sudden as the fun has begun,
This thing called life has won
Down the drain goes our economy
The universal economy affecting all within its reach
Faster and faster this current of life flows
Where it goes no one knows
I bet "they" never expected it to be this way
Never dreaming this day would cause such dismay
Everyone going their own separate way
The world in total disarray
When those influential monuments came to rest,
America was put to the test
Have we passed it yet?
Is there hope for the rest..of the world?
That deadly Crash
Those bodies stuck in the ash of that terrible collapse
When will we ever learn?
How many lives, how many buildings must be hurt?
But, as long as the secrets are "hush, hush"
There's no need to make a fuss
About what's going on in front of us
Everything we've gone through
The pain, and the strife,
Is just apart of the "Circle of Life" [comments] => 1 [counter] => 207 [topic] => 41 [informant] => ginabelle [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => political )

Well...only the selfishness of few demons creates tragedy for many blind and innocent who form large in number in any society.
The poem is thought provoking..very good poem. 5 stars. venkat
