A reminder of you
My hands are my eyes
They see into your soul

The rope of life strangles me,
Draining my last breath
For I do not breath for you
My love, not anymore

One step over the edge,
The edge of reason
Diving into the cement pool
Crimson paint everywhere

Screaming people fill the streets
Come to see the show
But I won’t dance anymore
I am no longer your puppet

Crimson tears on my neck
Pleading for you
For this life we once had
I have lost forever

Lost in the darkness
Of your twisted heart
Searching for the light
To guide my way

The poison of your love
Drown me
Stealing all emotions
So I cannot feel

Double barrelled hope
Praying for relief from this pain
Relief from you
From your “love”

Scars of what has been
The scars of our love will remain with me
Now and forever this bracelet
Will haunt me with memories of you

Memories I cannot erase
Like a shadow over my heart
Shrouded in darkness
Forever more

I cannot feel anything anymore
For these crimson tears cry you I river
As I lay to sleep
this crimson bracelet I wear forever
