Cloudy Day

Contributed by scottishgirl31 on Thursday, 1st January 2009 @ 05:52:04 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

The wind blows strong and uncontrollable
The cool air fills the day with dreary
The clouds so dark and dismal
On this day i am lonely
Longing for your sweet embrace
I can only think of you today
For i know you are coming home

The sun shines bright and warm now
The clouds have gone leaving blue sky
On this day i am in great joy
Knowing you are on your way
My heart is happy and beating fast

But what is this the clouds have come back
The air is much colder and my heart aches
Something must be wrong i feel
The phone rings twice so i pick it up
And what should the phone call be
The hospital called to tell me you were dead
But how can this be my love
I am all alone now and scared
What can i do now to get by
Now that i have lost my only love.

Welcome to our global family here at YPDC.
I'm so sorry for your loss and I know it has to be hard.
This is great writing even tho it's heart wrenchingly sad.
Take care of your self and if you need a friend just p.m. me any time.
I'll keep you in my prayers,
emy
