Array ( [sid] => 147157 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Memory of Siberia [time] => 2009-01-01 09:33:09 [hometext] => I miss Siberia although it's harsh weather and living conditions were devastating at times. [bodytext] => I remember days when going outside,
Watching birds come home
And smelling air filled with glamorous perfume
Was the cure to my home-sick syndrome…

Then slipping outside at night
Under the starry skies to roam
Just to feel the coolness of the air, right
Where wind goes through the trees like comb
And brushes off the sleepiness of home…

Sometimes I’d wonder off to tundra
Where I would indulge myself in peace
Not having book I’d often wonder
What kind of flower is this?

In the summer’s warming breeze
You will always hear mosquitoes
Singing their song again, so annoyingly
Scary, bloody little suckers bite you knowingly
That they might die… SLAP!

And then the autumn comes with gifts:
Baskets full of water, bird and blue berries
For those who survived another year:
People, little fox, mice and grizzly bear…

The time goes fast and winter comes
With rushing snow it covers all
And everything to keep it warm
Before the hit of arctic storm…
