The

world's a different place

these days with all it's woes

and evil ways, and yet remain's

my point of view still beautiful

because of

you.

The

sun could fade

and stars may hide

it's all the same to

me,

what really count's

is what's inside

cause there you'll always

be.

To

dream i need not

anymore since angels

sent me you,

who gently tapped

on my hearts door

and made love's dream

come true.

You've paved the highway

of my life

with love that knows no end,

becoming more than just my wife

your my eternal

friend.

So many things

you could have been

before you met me

way back when,

your beauty

simply said it all

the world was at

your beckon

call.

But

no instead you set it free

and sent your heart my

way,

as though you knew

what was to be

like sunlight knows the

day.

The

world now wear's

a different face an image

with no name,

and yet i merely look at yours

and you still feel,

the

same.

The

world's a different place

these days with all it's woes

Ben,
You literally brought tears to my eyes
with this one. Your poetry is always moving,
and this one especially caught me in its realm!

Yep, ya' definitely don't fix omething that's not broke.

Ben, this is definitely inspiration at it's best. You can take every day words and arrange them with such an amzing articulation...so fluid... such great flow...that..well, I am quite impressed and even somewhat envious. I wish I had what you two have. *sigh* Maybe someday. I'm glad that you honor us by sharing your art and inspiration with the rest of us.

Heh, somewhere in there I also meant to say I like the way you format your stanzas. It's such an even flow sort of thing.
