(be honest) [bodytext] => I could tell him to stay, but he would walk away.
I could ask please wait, but he would want to leave.
What is it that I must say to make him see?
It's like candy to the eye
Dare not to taste.
It's a broken heart just slipping away.
You're mind is set, my soul is free.
Experience love made by you and me.
I've seen your type, even though I'm weak
You're naturally male and I'm naturally me.
Temptation overwhelmed the curiosity.
Both you and me lay at defeat.
The sparkle I die to keep, but once again
Their you flee. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 301 [topic] => 25 [informant] => ixRobbiesGrLxi [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 16 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

If you know he is going to walk away, then as unbearable as it is, he is not the one. Sometimes, we have to let go.

I think this is a very well written piece and your poems are getting better all the time.

This is a lovely poem. I tend to agree with chatabox, tho', it may be hard to do, but sometimes we need to let go...

I enjoyed this...a nicely written poem. I particularly like the lines
It's like candy to the eye
Dare not to taste.

Well done, Chrissie :)

this poem was written from the heart... i am not inlove with the guy i wrote it for... i never was. i was just stating the truth about the feelings males can create... and these feelings usually lead to confusion.. The guys are usually the ones who in some cases hold feelings back and act in unusual ways that cause the female to not know how they really feel... this poem was written for someone named Jose... someone who was a lover but made a better friend.. and by my name it is obvious to see... i am... robbies gurl.
P.S.
this was the first poem i have posted.
