You got the nerve,
This spoken word.
Respect, my talent.

Poetry
since b-4 b.c.,
Even Jesus had it.

Parables
and metaphors,
hyperboles
and similes.

This occupation
causes penetration.
Infatutation
using saranation.

Most are blind
but creative minds,
understands my kind
don't share pearls with shawines.

Spoken speech
the kind that's deep,
will move your soul and's meant to teach.

So there it is here on the table,
now go read a book instead of watching cable. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 257 [topic] => 69 [informant] => lidachur [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => poets )

Quite funny, actually; I love the ending. The lines:

This occupation
causes penetration.
Infatutation
using saranation.

Are my favorite. Absolutely wonderful! So short, but so powerful, with such wonderful word choice. However, is saranation a word? I can't find it on Google dictionary, but I assume that it refers to speaking or reading of poetic verse, and if it's not a word, it sounds like a good one =P. I think you misspelled infatuation; I assume that's what you meant =).

Amen what can I say.
Poetry isn't a walk in the park
for its composer
Those that write know this
that's for sure , or
they’re doing something wrong...
